people love compliments, even if it is hey I really like your shoes.

This is a great question.
Start with a compliment like "I really like your shoes (or hair,
or car). Then say"have you seen any good movies lately?"
everyone has an opinion on some movie and will usually
open right up.If they don't, talk about the weather(boring)
If they still don't open up, they're not worth talking to any way,
so move on to someone that is more interesting.

i think a good subject starter would be your fave subjects (mine is music, Rock Music, fave bands ect)

then you'll know if the person is on the same vibe as you and if not, you'll have a healthy disagreement

and if its a guy, an argument qualifies as flirting (lol) so its double the fun

:)

Things people are passionate about, especially young people, are usually pop culture things. I suggest that you listen to what people are talking about as far as music, TV and movies go (or books or video games if that's your thing) and find people with similar interests to yours. People can talk for days about their favorite bands, I'm sure you can, too.
