I have a tube top dress, but I'm not very comfortable with my shoulders because of scars. Is there a good jacket or something that would good good with the tube top dress? The dress is black, so what color would go good with it if i were to buy a top? I'm very fashion retarded. And its for a wedding.

get a shrug in a bright color that flatters your skin tone, or one of those short wrap around sweaters that basically just cover the shoulders and chest. Even a delicate shawl would work well, maybe a neutral tone.
If youre getting something in a bright color, wear black shoes, strappy open toed or cute little flats, no chunky heels!
If a neutral beige or tan color, go with a neutral shoe.
simple jewellery, dont overfuss with your hair whether up or down.

Since its a wedding, you could go for a silk or organza shawl, solid color if you want to be simple, and printed for various effects (floral, paisly, patterned). Dark colors would make it look more formal, and lighter colors paired with black would maybe look a little younger. Silk sticks closer to your body, so it looks good on most body types. Organza is a bit more stiff, so it may add weight if you're curvy or your arms are not stick thin, lol. Good luck!

If it's a very dressy event, I'd go with an embellished shawl -- black with sequins or beading would be elegant. You could also camouflage your scars with tattoo cover up make up and some shimmer powder. Good luck and have fun!

since it's black, you could buy black which is just keeping it down a bit, but i would go for a exotic brown, that will pop out more, some white color could work too if you are lucky. but try to stay in this range.

Get a black bolero jacket and wear rhinestone jewelry. If you don't have your shoes yet, by black shoes with rhinestones on them. You will look very smart and sexy.
