1960's. I was born that decade but was too young to really appreciate it. I do remember listening to Rubber Soul over and over again, and staring at the cover thinking the Beatles were the coolest guys in the world. And I was right. I was born in 1961.

The 60's was probably the most culturally important decade of the past century. It was really the bridge to modern times, the 60's.

I would also choose to live in that decade, as an adult of course. Lots of things going on, all the exciting bands, no cable, but much better tv programming. You had Sinatra, mob guys, rat pack in the early 60's, Beatles leading up to Hendrix, Zeppelin and the man on the moon. 69 was the year of the Mets and the Jets, two surpise champions. Awesome times!

Were I not black, I would want to live in the 50s. It seemed to be so glamorous. The slang even sounded cool and swing dancing...Shut Up!!!!
