LX usually involves a trim package that includes fancy seats and extra bell and whistles. SE is the more standard trim package, cloth seats, A/C, etc....

Lx=extra luxurious Se=Special/sport Edition but it really don't mean that look at Honda and Nissan how the over use lx and se and everything in between but there far from luxury.makes me laugh there nothing but cheap plastic from the interior.

, LS, SE, in different car branding exercises Honda brand managers use accord LX for the owner to show the SE owner the higher trim level and to thumb his nose at the SE owner. Or is it the other way. Doesn't matter the one that costs more has a V-6 motor and the one that is less has a four cyl engine. And less features power leather seats sunroof electric windows and so on.

SE usually means Sports Edition (often just a couple small changes like a rear spoiler)

I don't know the technical terms but a few years ago someone said it was easier to remember SE - some extras - and LE was lots of extras.

It can mean different things for different cars. If I was buying a car, or really judging it, I would find out what it meant for that model of car, in particular.
