Football fever is when football season starts. That is usually late August because mostly all pre-season games of the NFL is all done and the colleges start playing the games as well. Hense football fever. Someone who lives, breathes, plays (no matter what the weather is like), and dreams to either play football and someday be a football star in the NFL or in College!!

Football fever is what I have it comes around this time of the year, It is football time and for those who LOVE THE GAME I mean really LOVE THE GAME, WE have this football fever when all you think about is players your team some get ready to place their bets (Gamble) others just do the Fantasy Football they join. ect.. All in all I feel it is in the AIR. I love the sport it's my dad's fought I would watched the game as a girl at the age of six, now 37 hey IT IS IN ME, I LOVE THE GAME AND I HAVE "Football Fever" Thank you now I must go watch the game. LOL

Three words......"Monday Night Football". True indeed a man thing. When you hear those three words football season is starting. The word super bowl is another term to this football fever. Men sit in front of the television with remotes in hand for the entire game. Shouting, screaming, and chomping on Tositos and dip. Not wanting to be bothered by girlfriends, wives, or children. Make yourself scarce. It's like the release of the XBOX and Madden(football game).
