I think you have to like your life or at least try your best to make it better.

Yes, loving each is only part of marriage. Maybe something needs to change to improve your life together. If you don't love your life together then ask your partner and yourself what brought you together. Maybe just loving each other isn't enough.

I don't think so. If there is something about you and your partners life you both don't like, you should sit and talk about it until you come up with a solution to change it! I truly feel that if you truly love each other, if you work at it, then everything will turn out alright.

It probably depends on what it is about your life together that you are unhappy with. Stresses such as seperation and finances amoung other things can have a negative effect on a marriage. I could give a better opinion w/ more details.

'Putuba 7' and 'Just Browsin' (see answers above) have pretty much answered this one between them.
It just boils down to the fact that part 2 of the equation ('not loving your life together') can be fixed, as long as part 1 ('loving each other') is still intact.

Yes it can. You are married, therefore there must be sacrifices that you make together. You are joined as one now. If you love each other separately, then it is more of a friendship or dating. No strings attached.

I am having a hard time being with my wife right now. We are rubbing each other every wrong way.
I never get a minute away without peace or distraction. I feel like a servant to her, not a husband.

Yes. If one or both partners aren't satisfied in their life united, they will seek satisfaction elsewhere. If things aren't remedied, the marriage will either begin to dissolve or it will become bitter. Perhaps you can work on what you want together.

NO! Get a different life. The two of you can reinvent your lives...move to a new place, try new adventures, do things you normally wouldn't do. You don't have to compromise what you like, but add to it. The two of you together can do it...get out of your rut!
