It's just the next step in your education... The question is it hard depends... If you're really good at what you major in it may seem like a piece of cake, if you aren't that great at it you may have to put in a few more hours with your books. It will be more difficult if you put off studiing for things and procrastinate on papers etc... the sooner you do things, the more you read, and the more you ask questions the easier it will seem. Go to class, read the assigned readings, take notes, and create study groups before tests and you'll be fine.

I feel it is very hard for a lot of students. They have no idea what it is to have to study.

In Texas,,, all they teach is how to pass the TAKS test.

They do not have good study habits at all

My daughter was an A student but never had any homework or had to study at home..

We have a very, very well credited school system and a lot of our top students have failed classes their freshman year in college.
They were shocked!
So,, what did they ahve to do?
Study, and study hard, and long...........!
Which isn't something they had to do to pass the TEKS test!

Depends... taking all my classes online was a lot easier, because I have a baby, and it's easier to work around her demanding schedule. It's sometimes hard to keep up with all the work, but it all depends on what you're accostomed to from high school. Have you taken any AP classes? If so, that's college life for you!

The GE classes are a lot like high school. The major classes a different story. Mine were wicked hard.

college is what you make of it, you can either party or pass or both if you're responsible enough. it is a great experience either way. no different than high school just a level up, you still learn and do work. like i said it's what you make of it and what you want to get out of it, but it's like its own comunity and that's the best part. have fun with it.

It's like a big, long party, IF you go to a college that's far enough away from home. If you're living with your parents during college, it will suck.

Yeah, they make you get up at the crack of dawn to be in class at 9am, you have to, like, write stuff, they wake you up if you're sleeping, and you can never find a parking spot.
