No. They are harmless. The mosquitos are another story....

On the other hand, they might be a sign of stagnant water, so you probably wouldn't want to swim with them.

I don't think so, but if you see any, kill the whole lot of mini-vampires. They'll grow up to annoy the h*** out of millions of people.
