I was adding music form my cds onto my computer and all of a suddent it wouldnt read anymore and made whirring and clicking noises. what should i do?

yeah, it only reads DVDs weird, huh? It cant bedirty becuase it reads the dvds fine.

nope, the cd's arent scratched or anytihng, the computer is actually only 1 and an half weeks old

Are you saying it won't read any CD's, but it will read DVD's?

Clean the lens of this drive (w/CD/DVD cleaning disk)... once you do that, if it still does not work, you need to buy a new drive

are your Cd's scratch a little bit because some systems are very sensitive.
