I use a small scissors to carefully cut away the excess hair first, cutting as low as possible. I then use the razor to define the edges. I never clean shave cause that really itches when its growing back. You can also try those battery operated razors for dry shaving. Remember to shower afterwards. Aint nothing wrong with shampooing and conditioning down there....or use a great smelling bath /shower gel. Makes "it" smell great. Never use perfume or lotion. Please remember to always use a shaving cream when you are not using a battery operated shaver as this prevents bumps. Another way to prevent bumps is to shave in the direction that the hair grows. When you shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth the hair sometimes retracts into the skin and this causes bumps too. Always take care when caring for the private parts. All the best!

This is going to sound silly but very carefully. You don't want nicks. You may want to try a little at a time because you might not really like the bald look. Try different shapes but make sure to go with the growth of the hair and not against it to avoid bumps. Don't use moisturizer afterward unless it is specifically for bikini area because you'll clog follicles and get ingrown hairs, which hurt. Don't ever dry shave, it sucks.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

I lay on a towel on the bed and let my husband do it for me. He can see it better than I can from that angle. He is very gentle. He uses shaving cream and a Good razor. And he likes to do it. We both get something out of it!

I use shaving cream. After each shave apply more cream if you are going to go over again. That way you don't get ingrowns. After shaving, use a moisturizing lotion, and Voila, sexy kitten....lol!
