I've been playing for a long time and this sport reaaaaallly gets you into f'n shape! It's better than football in my opinion and I don't know why it's not on tv

i personally think that rugby is muuuuchhh better than football...football is boring for me!

My uncle used to play rugby in his native Australia and in Canada. He has been coaching rugby for quite some time. He is currently the head coach for the under 21 team in Canada. I don't know much about the sport but have seen him play back in 1985. It seemed more physical than American football.

We really like rugby. It used to be on television all the time sunday morning. We got it all, Tri-Nations, Super 12 (I guess Super 14 now), Air New Zealand Cup etc. I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden, zilch. Sundays aren't the same anymore, sigh. Anyway. I agree with you. I like it better than football (Canadian or american). My daughter played in High school and for BC U19, unfortunately she tore her ACL in a game in Calgary, so that cut her rugby career short. Well anyway. Next year th World Cup in France eh! We are rooting for the All Blacks. Sure wished Jonah Lomu still played for them, what a player, mind you Daniel Carter is awesome too. Well that is all for now.

Might be fun to play but not to see. I like football becouse of all the rules they have. Football is more of a mind game than rugby.

I played Prop in boarding school and for a couple of years after. I WAS in shape when I played. Now I have arthritic knees & hips & multiple back injuries. Life has a way of catching up with you, when hit 40yo.
I can still drink like a rugger player though :-)

its not on tv in the states b.c its not popular; ppl think its barbaric. i think its awesome but football will always be my true love on sports.
