Bring our troops home, stop trying to save everybody else's countries, start taking care of our own, and let other people worry about their own country.
We are a ridiculously young country, yet have extraordinary resources and power. If we could only focus that on poverty, better school systems, and so on, rather than presuming to tell everybody else how to live, we might just get somewhere. Instead, we're like a kid playing with a gun found under a parent's bed and accidentally shooting a himself or a friend.

Sure and condemn the Kurds and Shiites to a fate worse then death; you don't have a clue what that man did to his people and those dying there today are not being killed at our hand - they are dying because of insurgents that back Saddam and his ilk. That is what you want to have win this war?
Guess what - you let them win now - then you will get to fight them in your home town....think you can win?

To be honest, I'm not sure we can? The Iranians have to want it themselves. Its like a parent that gives their kid everything, they soon learn not to appreciate what they have and expect their parents to keep giving or in some cases, even more. Until we allow them to fin for themselves so to speak, we cant expect them to take care of themselves or their democracy. But we cant cut and run either, we put them in this position. We can set a deadline though, otherwise we will never leave. I'm not to sure that Washington wants us out of there anyway?

Unfortunately, that won't work either. Nothing will. There are insufficient troops to stop the civil war. It will go on until there is a victor.

Bush adminnistration is very greedy, they want to steel oil without thinking about the consequences of his war... it's too late to ask this question.

If we git ourselves out of there, we will have peace.
I'm tired of Iraq, I don't wanna be there, it's a broken promise, let's count our losses and move on.
