Uncle Red Green would tell you to put the duct tape sticky sides together. When you get the length you want, cut as many strips as it will take to weave the strips in and out until you have a solid side for the tote. Do this twice. Then, sew the two sides together and made another long strip of duct tape with sticky sides together and sew in a handle.
