I surely do. But I certainly don't know why.
Why? No idea. Maybe because it's just different from the regular or american-ish cartoons. They have a certain something to them that you either hate or love, but whatever that thing is, it has to provoke a certain reaction in you, depending on your personality. You see it, you can't explain what exactly it is, but you know it's different.
The main thing or... rather... the initial thing that attracted me to anime was yaoi (slash). I originally got into it because of the slash and the beautiful way those stories were portrayed. And I gradually started to enoy all types/genres of anime, whether they're yuri, yaoi, hentai or just general, I like them.

You silly fool! Try watching Midori No Hibi (Midori Days) And u will see that Animes are not so bad after all! Some anime however are boring to watch but not all! It depends on the anime dum-dum! It has english translation now! DragonBall Z is a good example of a successful Anime! Ur just one of those Jerk out Anime haters thats all! Explore ur World girly girl! dont just react on the anime like a sick demented old woman! there are many out there u haven't seen yet!

I love anime. There are storylines you can tell using the animation form that just can't be done in real life or with real actors. They have crazy hair styles and outragous powers. They're geared usually more towards adults or teens, so the content is darker and interesting. I've always like animation and I find Anime a great method of storytelling. Who doesn't love a good story with interesting characters you care about?

Yeah, girl - LOVE IT!! Nice to see another girl that knows about it. My first was Akira, then Urotsukidoji. I also love Riding Bean & The Dirty Pair. Ninja Scroll is great!! Steamboy, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (I even have the japanese import b/c I couldn't wait for the american release.) And my boyfriend just bought a new one that I havent watched yet, I think it's called Karas . . . oh you asked why? I think it's because I love drawing & artwork so much that when I found out about this, I just loved it. I mean american kiddie cartoons are ok, but the background is one blank color. The detail in anime movies like Akira is amazing.

Anime is cool especially the Manga/bukake kind.
Why? Because they do **** to girls that can't be done in real life without a conviction and dudes in Japan are watching this stuff on the train with other people around and it's a ******* mind blowing experience to sit beside some 40yo dude watching this stuff while some school girl in her sailor moon uniform is standing 2 inches from him!

I love anime. It is a form of expression.
The people who do anime are letting other people know what is going on in their imagination. Instead of just plain text, the pictures that go with it add a special effect that could not be conveyed in any other way.

I love anime because of how it's drawn and how the facial features differ from real life to make it funny. I wish I could draw anime, but I learned how to draw from Teen Titans, so its hard.

Yeah but im sticking with Pokemon. I do like Inuyasha though, and Full Metal Alchemist. A bunch of other ones too.

and to watch what japanese people really think and feel...just between you and I think they are still mad at america for dropping those bombs, it shows in the anime
