Hey,

That's similar to what I do; but I do it to save time, not because I think the last two numbers have to be same, or anything.

Like for example, my female Japanese roommate saw me press 3:33 one time. She said, "Why that strange number?"

I explained that I don't want to have to look for the numbers like 3, 3, and 0. If the cooking time calls for 3 1/2 minutes, it's easier for me just to hit 3, 3, 3. I just shorten the time I have to look for the other numbers. So I press things like 2:22 instead of 2:15, or 1:33 for 1:30.

Of course my roommates thought I was nuts because I waste time in everything else but that. But it does save me a few nanoseconds to hit 1:11 instead of 1:00.

So yeah, I guess that way I do avoid hitting zero, too. But it's not because I have an aversion to it--it's just that zero is usually off to the side in microwaves and takes longer to get to it from the rest of the number pad.

Don't feel bad, I have a hard time eating M&M's cause I have a problem with not having 2 in my mouth at the same time, Same color, 1 on each side. I can't eat them when there is an odd one with no mate.

yeah, well I won't use the toilet paper at home until I put it on the roller correctly and that is paper coming off from over the top of the roll.

I think your compulsive and meticulous.... I never push a 'normal' number into the microwave, it's always some weird sh*t.

Sounds like you may have a slight obsession-compulsion. No big deal, just don't let it run your life.
