Mary Hartman was played by Louise Lasser , The show spun off the show Fern wood Tonight. It was a spoof of day time TV. But I don't remember a character named Rhoda in it. There was a Wanda Jetter played by Marian Mercier. Is that what you are thinking of?

I think that Rhoda was a friend to Mary of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Afterward, Rhoda had her own show called Rhoda.

I think there was a man on the Mary Hartman show, but I don't remember his name or much of anything for that matter. I disliked the show (hated how she spoke) and only watched it maybe twice. Sorry, it was a long, long time ago.

I don't remember all the characters on that show, but I remember that I just loved the show. Everyday I watched it. I was SO disappointed that it just disappeared. It was cheesy but funny.
