No, they shouldn't. They are Pro-Choice because they believe in the woman's right to CHOOSE what she will do--perhaps have an abortion, perhaps have and keep the baby, perhaps have the baby and give it up for adoption. Pro-Choice people do not want everyone to just have abortions; they just want to make sure that women have that option, legally and safely.
The "anti-choice" people, sometimes called Pro-Life, tend to want laws put in place to make abortions illegal. And since a VERY large percentage of them also seem to support the death penalty and the US slaughter of civilians in Iraq, I don't like to call them "pro-life". It's more like they want to protect every unborn child, but once it's born, then hell, kill 'em in prisons or wars.

Its pro-choice because they do not believe everyone should have abortions, just that women should be able to choose to not bring a child into the world that they cannot make good solid christians out of. You don't want more crazy demon spawn running around, do you?
Pro-abortion would imply that they are out there advocating MORE people get abortions and that just isn't true.
You can choose life and stil lbelieve that another woman has the right not to. That makes you pro choice.

I am pro-choice because I didn't have a choice it was either have the abortion and get surgery, or end up having a child with possible disabilities or die during delivery. I wanted a child and it took me 6 years to try to have one after all the surgeries I've gone through. My mother had an abortion and if it wasn't for that, I probably would've lost her because of her age that shes at. I only wish other people would have a heart and not be so mean to the people that almost give up on ever having babies. I went through a lot of tears, pain, and guilt thinking it was my fault, me that I should've never gotten pregnant how stupid of me to want a child of my own someone I could love unconditionally. I wanted that deeply and took me years to get over it. I may never get over it and how do I explain this to my kids? Relatives that don't know? I've kept this secret for a very long time.

Choice means you have a choice, it doesn't mean you choose abortion. If you were pro-abortion then you'd believe that everyone everyone should not be allowed to carry a child and give birh, but rather should be forced to have an abortion. So, yes, you can pro-choice and choose life....that's excercising your choice...believing that you should have the ability to choose....and that I can't tell you what you should do with your body.

There is a difference! Pro-Choice means that they feel a woman should have the right to choose. They may personally be against abortion as an option, but they feel that what another woman does is her own business. I personally tend to be somewhat Pro-Choice, but I am very much against abortion. I just think we need to try and care about one another, and realize that some people are in desperate situations, and not judge them.
I am Pro-Life for THEM as well as for their babies.
But I do not feel a woman should use abortion as birth control.
That is very wrong.

Pro-Choice means that they are for a person's right to choose rather or not to have an abortion. Pro-Lifers believe that abortion is wrong and believe that the life should be kept.

pro-choice isnt just about abortion, it covers a whole lot like having the choice of access to contraception, sex ed, fertility treatments and of course abortion. pro-abortion is too selective.
if you choose life then your pro-life

That is a good question.
I thought about that myself. How can you have a choice, if the choice is abortion. I mean, it doesn't make sense. You are right tho, but maybe they don't like the word abortion, and therefore use "choice".
Choice means you are making a choice of either keeping the child or killing it...
Killing it is abortion, not a choice...

If they referred to themselves as Pro-Abortion it might get them thinking about what they're really doing. Imagine that...a pro-choice person with a conscience. Unheard of!

people who are prochoice are normally neither for nor against abortion... its a commonly misused term... pro choice is that you think it is the womans choice... i personally think abortion is wrong... but i can think of some times that it would be approiate(sp) such as a young girl getting raped... thats y i claim to be pro choice...
i do not know if there is another name used for people that fully support abortion.
