in short, Adam Walsh is John Walsh's son, who in 1981 was abducted and killed. It was said that while they were Christmas shopping in a crowded store he lost hold of his sons hand for a minute or two and then couldn't find him after he began looking. Im unsure how how the child died (suffocation?), or if he was sodomised, but it grew a flame of passion in John's heart to begin a crusade that is now known as America's Most Wanted.
