Are the spots on her "points" (ears, nose, etc.)? It is a Californian. My friend raises those for roaster rabbits. Seeing as she's a rabbit primarily bred for meat, it's expected that she eats more so she has more meat. Californians also grow bigger than most, if not all, lops so that alone will have her eat more.

My family used to raise rabbits, for show and for food, just a couple of breeds. I used to fill their bowls in the afternoon and they would munch on it throughout the day. We never had a problem with obesity. Is the rabbit fat? Probably not. Is it still growing? It would eat more than a mini lop. She sounds cute. do you give them pieces of carrot sometimes?
Here are a couple of links about feeding rabbits. They say that they will get fat, but ours didn't,, maybe those are bored or something: they also say that rabbits like hay.

Feed her the recommended amount of pellets for her age and give her unlimited hay. Also, she should have lots of fresh veggies daily. My rabbits are pigs too, when they're out hopping around they'll eat my dog's food if I forget to put his bowl up :) You're a good person for saving the little bunny! Good luck!

Some rabbits would eat as much as you let them. You can find the appropriate amount to feed them on this website. Don't feed it as much as it wants. http://www.rabbit.org
