What is the chances of two mass murderers (one wearing ID) knocking on your door? (Dont they come in through the window?)
It's probably someone to read your electricity meter or sell you some cleaning materials. The world is not such a bad place that you cannot answer your door.

Never open the door to stranger no matter what.Try to buy something that can make a uge noise so the next door neighbor could heard it and call the police.Also you can ask somebody who is closer to your appartment if something happen if you can call them for help,sometime they are faster then the police.
Make sure that all your windows and door are not easy to open.
And put the telephone near your bed,so it can be easy for you to call for help.good luck:)

yes id answer the curiousity would kill me. im not a criminal so i have nothing to hide. i would however ask for indentification of who they were before i opened door.
