I am travelling cross country tomorrow on I80 and am curious about easy places I can stop to gain access to free internet on my wireless enabled laptop. Starbucks? Internet cafe's? Motels?

Yahoo Maps (the classic version, not the beta version) has a feature where you can locate wireless hotspots around any location. I think other online map sites have similar features.

A lot of hotels have internet access. You might have to pay.
