My 17 year old friend hangs around 13 -15 year olds and everyone is making up lies about him because of it. People dont want to be around him because of it and he is such a nice guy.

gossip is such a hurtful thing. people for some reason enjoy doing it, even if it means someone gets hurt. maybe the other peer is jealous because these kids didn't want to hang out with him.

There isn't much you can do but support them if they are being wrongfully accused i was in a situation similar to that. I was 15 and my soon to be husband was 18 and everyone was accusing him of the same thing when i was persuing him. Like i stated before the only thing you can do is stick by your friend.

thats sad.. people could do the dumbest thing to ruin a persons life.. tell hiim not to hang out with them.. at all... good luck
