You mean tourett's syndrome? or something like that?

Well, in the movies, you just have to blurt out obscenities uncontrollably and unintentionally. In real life, you just have to have some strange repettitive behavior, any kind of behavior, although it's usually a little inappropriate. Then you go to your doctor, and they diagnose you as having Tourett's syndrome, and give you good drugs, and whatnot.

Or do you mean turrets? Those are round things. You can have an architect draw up plans to add them to the top of a tower for you, and a contractor can build them... or sometimes you can get them installed on your motor vehicle. They're rather popular for tanks, jeeps, and hummers.

It is a physiological condition that may be inheirited, or caused by some form of trauma. It is involuntary spasms of the body, mostly the face and vocal chords. Some people swaer constanty, and while this is very very rare, it is the most famous example and it is what everyone thinks of when they think of Tourette's.

Most people might have facial spasms which briefy contort the face, they might bark or gasp, or constantly fidget.

From what I understand from sufferers I have met, it is a condition which causes them quite a bit of embarassment, and can be socially debilitating for all those that do not understand.

torretts (sp) is a syndrome
see - http://www.webmd.com/hw/mental_health/hw171179.asp

Tourette's disorder is a neurological (brain) condition that usually begins in childhood. It causes a child to make sounds or words (vocal tics) and body movements (motor tics) that are beyond his or her control. Tourette's disorder (TD) is also known as Tourette's syndrome and Gilles de la Tourette syndrome. However, not all tics are TD. Your child may have tics and not develop TD..........(it continues)

It probably helps to spell it correctly.. tourette's. You might need a personality transplant, because the people I've know with tourette's are amazing.
