Sounds like you're a real individualist! Gender boundaries are dissolving, classes are not so much male or female as they were in the past. Plus, that sounds like a real interesting class, so you probably wont be the only girl, but if you are...more power to you!
My brother is studying architecture at an Ivy League University. There are just as many, if not more, girls in his class than boys.

don't worry about it, just do it. I wanted to take food tech in high school but i wasn't allowed because of the whole "you're a guy" thing. Well, I probably coulda got an easy A out of it but instead I was forced to take systems where everyone failed or some just scraped C's. Basically we all got A's or B's for our coursework (60% of the work) and we must've got like 10-20% in the final exams. If you enjoy it, you'll do better and you'll get a better mark.

No, I seriously doubt it. These days, a lot more girls are into home design and drafting, so they can learn to design their own homes in the future. That and the fact that there is definitely a demand for it, makes it worth learning.
