I am not a lady but might know something about approch to ask a lady she does not want someone that acts like someone else that is not you and she does not want a put on show of who you want to be! be yourself if you look lik a fool in asking her out great! she seen that and she knows that you are not afraid of being yourself around her and she will think twice before saying no it just may be yes I will go out with you cause some girls wonder the same about boys they like hope this helps you out

No matter what generation, girls love to be the ones to be pursued, kiddo. We are not shy these days, we have to be cautious. Nobody, male or female, likes to be the one to approach someone only to have them look you up and down and turn away. Maybe you need to be more friendly and open to meeting all kinds of girls before you let a first impression take over!

sounds like you're really shy as well. i'm a shy girl, i probably wouldn't say yes even if you approached me and asked me out. if you want to get to know shy girls better, it'd definitely take a lot more time than if you're with an outgoing girl. patience is key, and it doesn't sound like you've got much. if you like a girl, and she's sweet and cute but shy, give it time. be patient. give us a chance. a lot of us are really great catches, i promise!

I don't think that's the main problem. I think that many guys are in such a hurry to get a girl in bed that they don't want to take the time to get to know her. If you're patient and you really get to know a girl it might take longer but you will end up finding a quality relationship instead of a casual fling.
