you have no confidence, so you tend to treat other people that you might see on TV or in the mall as standards that you need to live up to. this in unhealthy because you can't see how screwed up the people around you are. they pretend they are good, but they are not. stop treating your peer group as a group you have to conform to. you do not have to be exactly like they are.
