I should prob know this at my age (21) but does worrying about not getting your period delay it even more? I usually follow about a 35 days cycle but am a few days late, like 4 days and I constantly worrying about it. I wouldn't have thought I could be pregnant 'cause I haven't had sex since about a week before my last period.

Some said 'why no protection', I used protection. Always always do! Always use comdons and always check if they've split, which they never have.

Actually, the way your cycle works is that the time you ovulate is what determines when your period comes. Once you've ovulated, then its a certain number of days till you start to bleed. I think its like 12-16 days. So if your stessing right before your period or if your late, the stress won't do much really. If your stressing about something around ovulation, then that is when your cycle may be put a little off.

Yes it most definitely does with me anyway!
There are a few times when I have worried like mad that I was preggars and as soon as I took the pregnancy test my period started within a day!
If you are really worried then why don't you go to a family planning clinic and ask for a free preg test - or if not but one from a chemist?
All the best with it!

Yes, along with loss of weight, and stress. Just calm down. You being worried is causing your period to come later. There is nothing to be worried bout. I would take an at home pregnancy test just to make sure. Just so you know that you aren't pregnant. That will take some stress off you.

The question isn't whether worrying makes you late - the question is whether you can get a period after becoming pregnant. And the answer is yes. And you may be pregnant - so do a home pregnancy test and take care of yourself!

Yes it is possible to think about something so much that it can slow your menstrual period and I for one experience that this month my periods were late for a week and I thought I was pregnant and my breast even looked larger and I was experiencing terrible back pains.

stress does affect periods, but then so does a whole load of other stuff. if it doesn't come back after a few more days, take a pregnancy test (which sounds like it will be negative) and then go to your doctor

Well, worry will most certainly delay your period, more worry
more delay.... but it would be as well if you did a
preg test, 4 days befor period ..not good.. (why no
protection ??) good luck...
