I knew a girl like that. And some of these people need to chill out. I don't think this woman is being vain at all. It would seem odd to be stick thin all around and still have a little pouch. I would be concerned too. I agree with the possibilty of weak ab muscles, or bloated intestines. Even after meals, someone could have a bigger tummy if they are just petite. Unless she's concerned I wouldn't worry about it. If she is, strengthening those abs will help. If it were something serious, I'd bet you would know because of other symptoms. Good luck hun.

i think you mean bloated tummy, and i hope you have not actually said anything to her she is only 10 after all and she is slim, but if you keep banging on about it you are likely to make her anorexic dont give her a complex about it, lots of 10 year olds have a bit of a tummy it could be hormonal, she might be getting ready to start her periods, and when she does her tummy will probably go down naturally, give it a rest

well dont worry about it! she is 10! but maybe her intestines are bloated, she could be sensitive to something, if she gets tummy aches after eating some things then she could be sensitive 2 them. i am sensitive 2 gluten, and i get bloated sometimes and i have a big tummy, im 17 though lol but not pregnant!

She is only 10. I know that there is child obesity, don't give her something to worry about. As long as she is happy about herself there is nothing wrong. The next time you have a doctors appointment ask her Doctor if she is over weight.

What, is she not perfect enough for you - does she know you are posting questions about her on here?. What does your tummy look like? Scrutinise your own body nobody elses.

Her ABS are probably not developed .
Crunches should help the situation .
She is still young yet so don`t get on her about it .
Don`t you remember feeling ugly during puberty?
