Not automatically.
If the same woman is constantly wanting your father to come over all of the time to help her do various things then I would say she probably does like him.
But, if it's a one or two time deal then no.. I wouldn't say so.
And, your mom shouldn't jump to conclusions with her assumptions esepcially to you. She should only turn to you if your father was cheating instead of worrying you that he may be.

This is an issue that your mother should have never told you about. She is confiding in you, something that a child or teen shouldn't have to think or worry about. You are still growing up, and she is using you as a support instead of helping you grow and mature.
If you ask your neighbors husband to help you with something, does it mean that you like him??? Or does it mean that you just need help with something??? Do you understand what I mean by asking that?

women ask for help from a guy they feel comfortable with, the liking comes later, you can't help but like somebody you can talk to. You don't say why she thinks that your dad is cheating

No. I have lots of guy friends who I ask for help when I need help with something. However I have no inclination to be intimate with any of them and nor do they expect it. We are simply friends. Nothing different than me being a friend with another female and asking her help with something. There honestly is real friendship between men and women with no hanky panky.

No and if thats her basis for suspicion your mother is ridiculous. Why are you involved in this anyway? It isn't your place. A woman will ask a guy for help because she needs help.

You should not be involved in this. Talk to your mom and tell her how you're feeling about all this, maybe talking to her will help you.
