I remember him very well. I was 14 he was 18 and he seemed so grown up to me. He got called up to do his National Service in the army, ( it was 1957 ) and we wrote to each other every day.He had a tattoo with my name on his hand, We were still together 2 years later when he came out of the army. I then decided I needed some freedom. He was nearly 21 then and wanted to plan for settling down, I was still only 16 and I did not want to settle yet, so I ended it because I felt I was too young. I have looked back a thousand times and wondered "what if???"

Yea I think that's something that I'll never forget. This was one life changing relationship. I lost my virginity with him and we weren't even b/fs but either way because of him im were i am right now. One thing leads to another and I Will never regret anything I've done. I loved him in a sweet kind of way and i had so much fun with him, even if our relationship was mainly based on sex. I was 15 and he was 14 so can u imagine?. I still see him around but i don't feel anything any more. Well those were the days.
Yours truly,
Twilight

They say you never forget your first love and it is something you carry with you forever. It's the simplicity of falling in love without the cynicism, of trusting completely without doubt and has a beauty within it's innocence. Your first is unforgettable because it never happens again and I think the only thing more powerful is when you fall deeply in love later in life albeit the cynicism, albeit the previous broken hearts, albeit the lessons learnt and you just let go... when it moves away from the first love to the "love of a lifetime"... but enough mush for tonight!

Yes - I believe a first love is the one you never forget - you probably don't remember things quite the way they really were, but that doesn't seem to matter.

What I most remember is the newness and specialness of the feelings - it's never quite the same again.

I remember everything about him.
I worked with him for 2 years before we became an item & for several years after we split. I remember all the good times but also the fact that he slept with practically every woman we knew.

yes....i remember my first love....what a roller-coaster!!....
I remember feeling as if I'd never be that happy again and that it was impossible to ever love someone more than the person I was currently with. He gave me some of the best days of my life, but it ended kind of badly. Luckily, I've found someone new!

I remember that my family didn't like him at first, long story, but they are warming to him now. We met three years ago, and are still together, planning to get married and have the most beautiful daughter that anyone could ever hope to have.

I remember the first time she looked at me. She thought i'd tapped her on the shoulder but it was someone else.. she smiled... I smiled back. We started talking and I thought to myself "this is what it feels like when you fall in love."

(seven years later it all went wrong, but that's another story.)
