my girlfriend just left for college ill be going close to home and shes about 300miles away. the other day i told her that i didnt want to take away any college experience by being tied up with me so far so it was up to her about wat she wanted to do, stay together or otherwise. i love her to death and i dont want to lose her but at the same time i want her to be happy. did i do the right thing by telling her this? she was unsure about wat she wanted to do and that gave me the feeling that she isnt so sure about the relationship as i am. i could really use some words of advice and comfort, i dont want to push her into an answer by calling so im just waiting for her to call me as of now

I think that you both are unsure of the relationship right now. I think that you did the right thing by letting her go. You also need to think about what is going to make you happy.

What an mature person you and so thoughtful about your girlfriend feeling. Both have finish college and ready to be in the big wide world now. I think you both need breathing space. Both of you seem unsure that quite normal. Just give it time.

i really feel for you. you did the right thing. both of you are still young and going to college mean meeting different people, and a kind of life change. dont call her, wait for her to call you,you seem like you really do care for her alot and you surely showing it by letting her go. if its meant to be you will stay in contact and be together for a long time, dont worry, take it easy!!!

You do the right thing by telling her you want her to be happy and that you care. But more importantly - you don't make the decisions as to what she will miss out in college or not. There are plenty of stupid things in college its ok to miss out on. Trust me.
