You can't know the real consequences of your choice (the future) until the choice has already been made. In this sense it is an illusion to 'choose' any outcome certainly.

I disagree about understanding or living with it, though. Neither is required.

9 time out of 10, if a person listens to thier conscience, they won't make the wrong choice. Another way of saying it, is to go with your gut instinct.

Unfortunetly, alot of people make the wrong choice because they are going off of their emotional state at that time. They are feeling way to happy, like "I can't go wrong", or their really pissed and making a decision they think will avenge their pain. These choices are obviously not rational choices.

If a person just stops and listens to what that little nagging voice (instinct) is telling them, they are sure to make the right choice most, if not all of the time.

if you don't understand it in the first place then there is nothing to make a right choice. making a choice should be from the heart and true feelings then your choice is the right one,

The way I have been using seems to work for me. I'm 35.
The way I see it, If your life is getting better and all is going well you must be on the right path. If, however, you seem to have only trouble and debt, you may be going the wrong way, have the wrong mate, friends. Need to reevaluate.

You know it's right by looking at the outcome of your decision. What would have it been like, otherwise? That's how you live with it- is by the comparison. Otherwise, it was the wrong choice.
