and you don't know how to fix it...you want things to be as they were but you're afraid that maybe that's not possible now?

yeah i know i've disappointed my dad, he wanted me to go to college and get a degree, but well it's not what i want. i hated school and i'm happy where i'm at. i'm sure both my parents want me to settle down and marry, but i really don't see that happening either as more and more i'm attracted to people that the law says i can't marry. no not members of my family sheesh. and it's not like i want to come out and tell them so i'll just do what i have to i guess and see what happens.

Things will never be as they once were. All you can do is sincerely say you would like to try again, you know you made a big mistake. Trust must be earned, and is hard to earn it back once you break it the first time.
