It is real, my freinds science teacher said it was true. A cross between a tiger and a lion...............
liger (offspring of a male lion and a female tiger)
The liger (Panthera leogris) is a cross (a hybrid) between a female tiger and a male lion. It is therefore a member of genus Panthera. It has also been known as a lion-tiger mule. A liger looks like a giant lion with diffused stripes. Some male ligers grow sparse manes. Like tigers, but unlike lions, ligers enjoy swimming. The liger is the largest animal in the feline family Felidae.
A cross between a male tiger and a female lion is called a tigon. According to The Tiger, Symbol of Freedom rare reports have been made of tigresses mating with lions in the wild. [1]

Yes. they exist .
They are the hybrid between a male lion and a female tiger.
As already stated, tiglons (not sure abt. the spelling) also exist.
They are above the average size of a lion or a tiger.
Different experiments have been conducted to create the hybirds but the ligers and tiglons have till now been proven to be infertile

Yes they are real
They are called Liger when the father is a Loin and the Mother is a tiger. They are extremely huge creatures they can reach 12 feet tall if they stand on their hind legs
A Tigon is when the Father is a Tiger and the mother is a Loin , though there aren’t as many Tigon’s as there are Ligers

It does not exist in the wild and only happens in captivity through humans doing it on purpose seeing as lions and tigers never meet in the wild and most animals do not cross-breed.
It's a lion and a tiger's offspring; therefore neither one nor the other.

Yes, it is a male lion and a female tiger but they will be infertile. They are of same family Panthera but of different species, leo and tigris. It wouldn't happen in the wild as they don't inhabit the same area. And even if they did they wouldn't mate as they don't resemble one another, nature has a way to protect itself.
