I happen to be one of those people...on occassions when i feel confident enough, its is a clear statement to me, but i'm not gonna tell you, i want to know what you think. Don't be f^c"king rude tho cos i'll get angry, i know there will be some passionate responses (maybe that's another good reason to do it!!)

Wow, some very interesting remarks, if not a little closed minded, though so far i think the teacher woman who offered to tell me a little about it was the most intelligent with her response, sorry to everyone else but you all make vast assumpitoons about the type of person i am and i am under no duty to reveal to you just how wrong you are but i will share a little something, i actually work at the UN, i am a respectable citizen, i work with young people and i think this world sucks BIG TIME, i pretty much hope that i don't give to bags of siht about what wany of you think, that's why i asked, the point is, SO many of you just had to get that off your chest and i'm glad i could be of service, but i'm afraid none of you attempts to coax me out of comfortably resting my belt on my hips and allowing my sometimes beautiful, sometimes dirty, sometimes plain boxers to show, haven't worked. I love that people just can't understand it, and i know where it came from but i think its been claim

claimed by a whole new generation now and at least we're experimenting with our 'fashion', maybe in a homogenous way, but no different from any other craze, except for some reason it does get a bigger reaction-until that goes i won't ever regret showing my ****, because until narrowmindedness is rooted out of the indoctrinated masses i won't be happy and until then this world i repeat sucks, so why shouldn't i get to stick my finger up at it every now and again, it feels liberating and none of you will ever experience that because you won't allow yourself to be looked at as anything other than someone who fits in to the status quo, you care too much about what you look like and you're afraid to accept that everything we assume we know about the world is our creation and we get to customise, we get to challenge frontiers of what is accpetable and you basically had better get used to it because we ain't going nowhere.P.S i am also not a wigger, i simply hate wearing my pants on my waist!

It honestly isn't uncomfortable, you get used to it, don't you see....clothes are all ridiculous anyway, why does it matter so much if you see someone's underwear...why are you looking there anyway, do you think anybody that does that cares what you think, don't you see how pathetic your arguments are.....i am gay, makes no difference, i am straight makes no difference, why do people want to stick so rrigidly to social conventions, all this rage that comes out, must be how you feel about yourself, some of you should try it for a day and feel the way people look at you, you'll love it, its so funny, they literally don't know wht to do with themselves....its like constant entertainment for me!

i feel that the dress has nothing to do with the individual person.i had a freind get all over his grandson which happened to be black because of some of his clothing.in my friends thoughts people would look down on him for his clothing.i believe that is not an issue.yes, people have there own thoughts and allow them to.i asked my freind about the so called bad people that dress in that manner.i asked these questions: does he get in trouble?,does he show others respect?, does he respect himself ? ect.and he said that he did.so, this was my question: why take three pairs of pants that he owns away because they may be three sizes to big.he only has those three and the others fit well.allow him to have what he worked hard for.as long as he acts the part of an great citizen.

I thought only women wore slacks. Men wear trousers.
I think it looks pretty uncomfortable when they have the waist below the bum, and fairly insecure. A bit of a worry to walk in maybe. But I don't really care. As long as their trousers don't fall down or trip them up. THEN they would look fairly stupid, but I don't suppose it ever really happens.

I do think it looks a bit daft when those really skinny scrawny little Indian boys wear those great big clothes. They have to take three steps before the clothes move. But whatever. Can't understand these people being so abusive, and racist, and homophobic about it. They need their heads examined. No body's making them do it. Why should they force there taste on others. I don't get it.

Stupider than the zoot suit!!!!

It comes from hip-hop culture, which borrowed it from the penitentiary. Confused? Guys in the slammer, in prison wear, must wear whatever they get, which, in many cases, is far too big, and, of course, the fat gang bangas lose oodles of weight, so they droop like mad. Romanticizing the life of crime. But wait until they actually get sentenced. Total hell. Self-destruction is big in our society, and is being exploited by the rap industry...not the rappers alone, but the executives covered in blood and hate all the way to the bank!!! And the clothing manufacturers. Urban America had better wake up! And the kids of suburbia with it!

First of all this is a contradiction of terms because no MAN would ever wear his pants sagging below his butt! This is only acceptable by cute chicks so we can see their luscious goods! It's pathetic for men to do. . ..just like all the gay ghetto rap fashion statements. . . the doo rags. . . . the pants with the crotch below the ankles. . . . the oversized everything. . . and lets not forget the unbelievably lame wearing your clothes backwards faze that those jerkoffs crisscross or whatever started.

I would never hire you. I'd rather you learned some manners and stop dissing the world, punk! WTF do you expect people to think about you, anyway? Let's see ... proper girl/guy showing respect/civilized behavior vs. you ... cretin with no class! Duh! I think it's going to be a laugh when you grow up and 15 years from now you and people like you look at your old pictures! You will realize how stupid the whole fashion thing was. Or maybe you don't think the workd would last that long so you don't care. Problem with that is, WHAT IF IT DOES. Checkmate, bozo!

I think it is a ridiculous fashion? statement. It shows how much people are willing to be led rather than being leaders and making their own statements. I was told the style? originated in prisons in America where available booty was being put on display. Why would anyone want to use that as an expression of their style, unless of course they are expressing their homosexual tendencies.

slacks below their butts: I think that it is a "style" right now between the kids that I teach. I have talked to the kids about it and they gave me that they are 'wiggers'= white kids trying to be 'niggers'. Of course I severly repromanded the student and let him know that he is extremly lucky that it was me ~ who is cool; but that it was not appropriate and I told them to be careful who they repeat this to. What do I think??? I think it is a style and most kids, students, young adults don't really realize where it comes from. If you are so inclined to know a brief history, send me a message other wise, carry on and buy some nice expensive brand name jockey shorts to wear with it.

I think it is silly and looks sloppy. I know to the people that do it it is a statement. But I think it looks dumb. I caught a guy sporting the look showing most of his underwear one day and I told him that a whole lot of his shorts were showing. We were both embarrassed.

It's funny. I was taking a city bus in Indianapolis on a bitter cold winter day. The bus stopped to pick up some teen-agers who take the city bus to school. This young man had his droop going on, real deep too. I had to chuckle as he walked by. He was totally willing to freeze his sh!t off just to keep a look. Don't you pull your pants up when it's cold as Hell?
