What would you rather see-a player go out with a good season(Sandy Koufax) or a player limping off with a horrible one(Willie Mays,I think)

I would rather see any star athlete go out with dignity and pride with the fans longing for and missing them like Rocky Marciano, Barry Sanders, & Jim Brown instead of staying too long like Mays, Ali, Barry Larkin and many,many more.

Iknow what you mean.I was fortunate enough to have A s season seats during the Rickey Henderson era theh to se him refuse to retire and end up with the San Diego surf dogs was truley sad. (LONG LIVE THE STOLEN BASE KING)
