I never understood how anyone could say that a good cry every now and then was healthy. Until it happened to me. Sometimes you just get to a point where you've had a long week, work is rough, your significant other is driving your insane, your family is nagging you, and something just sets you off and you cry. If you're in one of those moods you'll cry over just about anything-yourself, the world, or your friends. As long as it doesn't become habitual, I wouldn't worry about it!

Yes, I do. I cry for the reasons you mention & I cry for many others too. Mostly I cry when the pressure just builds to a breaking point, and I need a release valve. Of course, I do it alone because I don't want to bring anyone else down while I'm doing it.

What about you?

Yes, there are times I cry in front of people too. Crying is an emotion, in-fact it is healthy. Just like laughing. Now, if your crying because you feel the world is going to end soon. You need more than an encouraging word, therapy is the key. I cried when my daughter graduated, I cried when I got married, I cried when my younger daughter told me she was in love. The list goes on and on. So does life.. Enjoy it !

Hi..
We need both : "laughter and tears", to help us function in society... Crying relieves stress, reduces hormone and chemical levels in the body, and helps us return to a calm state... Laughter relieves stress, stimulates healing, exercises certain parts of the body, and helps in human bonding.... That is why crying and laughing are beneficial to us both, "emotionally and physically"..
So, if I cry, I do it alone..most of the times..
Laughing, for myself, others.. to make them feel better, when it is necessary;))

My regards!;)

Only if I see/hear something provacative that brings up those emotions. Sometimes I cry for myself. Sometimes I cry for others. But it usually has to be instigated by something.
