DON'T DO IT!!!
Look, I know they're a novelty to you right now. But they are just rats with good public relations. Seriously. If they figure out how to build a nest in your attic, it will cost you thousands of lives and millions of dollars. They're smart, persistent and, if a beaker of the ebola virus ever got loose and killed humanity, they would be next up on the evolutionary ladder.

Maybe some bird food. I know squirrels throng together wherever there is a bird feeder. My dad has a bird feeder and a major squirrel problem which he has been battling for years. The pesky critters never seem to give up trying to get at the bird feeder no matter what he does.

Have your ole man/Boyfriend stand outside, drop his britchs to his anckles, and say " here kitty, kitty, kitty, come and git it !! "
Just kiddin !! Really, just try what others have been saying but the best time would be a little later this year when it isnt so hot outside. They store their food in the fall to get throught the winter so they will be much more active a little later in the year and that would be the better time and the better you feed them at that time, the more likely they will be back in the spring of the year !
Good luck and hope it all works out for ya !!

You have to be patient, they aren't used to you yet but keep
up with a bird feeder & put peanuts & acorns at the base of your trees & they'll eventully get a clue. You might just want to buy a hampser or a bunny instead, I hear they can be pests.
I wouln't know personally. I'm from Ca too.

Hang some corn on the cob from the trees.Hang a bird feeder with nuts and raisins in it too.
Then place some nuts around the bases of the trees. Wait a week and they will come.

not a good idea, my son was sitting outside in a Swing one day,
squirrel jumped on his leg, we don't know where it came from, they will bite if you try to touch them, be very careful, if you really want them in yard, walnuts are nuts of some kind should do the trick.they will eat bread also.

you may desire to do the song and dance of the squirrel. It in certainty includes you putting your palms on your mouth and making squeaking noises. They love that. That or you may in basic terms get some nuts and seeds.

Put a bird feeder out, they can't seem to resist them. However, you are in Alabama, they might have all been shot and put into stew already (ha-ha)!
