So you're getting into basic Electricity and Magnetism ☺
One thing that I know (since I've taught that class quite a few times ☺) is that you are really **really** gonna have to buckle down and study the material. Don't be afraid to ask questions in class. And work lots of problems. If you can find a help book (like the Schaums outlines) they usually have lots of worked problems. And when you look at a worked problem, don't just stare at. Dig out a calculator, figure out which equations they're using, and do the math along with them.

This is not an easy class for most people because you're going to be dealing with things that you can't see, hear, taste, feel, or smell. You are going to have to learn to let the mathematics be your guide to how things work.

Most college physics departments employ lab assistants, most of whom are always willing to help out with some private tutoring if properly approached. A little 1 on 1 help from a fellow student can make your life a lot easier.

I hope you need the course, if not you better like a challenge. Always do the problems at the end of the chapter and attend recitation. Gauss requires knowledge of integration, so be taking calculus as well.
Study, do problems, study and then relax.

Asking here is not going to solve you problems. Try getting a help book for physics. That is what I did and got out fine.

You can ask a specific question, and I would be able to answer if that's what you want. Calling your post vague is an understatement, lol.
