I don't know all about fighting and wars but there should definitely be a female president or a male of another ethnicity for example a black president.

I don't know about NO wars, but it would greatly reduce. Why? Because by nature, women are less violent and agressive than men. Women are nurturers and "gatherers". Men are just natural agressors. Their response to treading on their territory is agression. It is nothing bad or wrong - it is just the natural scheme of things.

Why hasn't there been a woman president yet? Well, we are just coming around to the mentality of women being able to do just as good of a job as men. There are still those in the world (both men and women) that still feel that the woman's place is not in the workplace, but in the home cooking dinner and caring for the kids. Until that image is gone or only seen by the minority of people voting, a woman president will only be a dream.

Actually, I think there would be more wars and fighting if women ran the world. We are a lot more violent than we are usually given credit for. Women can be vicious and vindictive when the opportunity presents itself. The reason there hasn't been a female president yet is because there have been no good nominations. Personally, I vote for Oprah or Angelina Jolie.

Queen Elizabeth I of England launch unprovoked wars of conquest on Ireland. The Empress Catherine of Russia sent her kossacks into Turkey, slaughtering thousands. Just because a ruler is a female is no guarantee that she would be any more peaceful than a man.

There has not been a female president yet because, until recently, American society did not see that as a viable position for a woman. Your attitude that women are somehow more peaceful than men harkens back to the "weaker sex" stereotype that kept women out of office. As fewer people hold on to that stereotype, it will become more likley for us to have a female president.

I disagree. Women are very grouchy some days...and women fight too (I am a woman). No woman has ran for president yet. Or at least not one that is worth voting in, obviously.

I have to agree w/ everyone else here. Women can't get along with anybody for any length of time, especially each other. The next thing you know we'd be invading France b/c their ambassador wore the same shoes to dinner as our President

no. there will not. people have opinions and so people hate eachother for having different opinions. many people may not hate people for those opinions, but others will. Women aren't superior, neiter are men. there is no superior being. that's why. and the only reason there hasn't been a women persident yet is because people are afraid of change. we need a great leader, us women are waiting for the right one.

It would take the right kind of women, just like it takes the right kind of man to run the country. I know I could run the country without sending people to die for my cause.
