It depends on who you are and what you have already done. It depends on what is important to you and what you like to do. It depends on life dreams and such. Make them meaningful. Not junky self serving things. How about leaving the us on a trip? How about adding a volunteer thing for a cause you care about there must be something you have a passion for? How about something to do with family and if not friends and if not make a connection with someone in your community. How about mending a bridge with someone? How about going back to a favorite childhood place? How about doing something you have always dreamed of? Save up money or make plans and do it? How about some educational or work goal. How about asking that special someone out or reaching out to an old friend or connecting to an organization or group where you can meet people you have something in common with? How about purging your life of some junk since you are not a teen anymore and either sell it and or donate what cannot be sold? Do not throw away usable things? How about those things? Make some lists. How about reading one fiction book and one non fiction book of your choice? Write in your journal from now until the end of your 1st year during this process even if it is one line a day. Just be yourself and remember you have a story no matter who you are. You have deapth and are a complete person. How about looking at yourself and who you are?

1. Finish high school
2. Take steps to make sure / plan about how you are NOT going to get pregnant before you get married
3. Decide what you want to be and enter college
4. Do many internships in your college major for credit
5. Join a national volunteer organization and plan to stick with it for life
6. Develop a life plan (write down the things you want to do between the ages of 20 and 30, 30 and 40, 40 and 50, 50 and up)
7. Keep track of all of your friends along the way, because they will not keep track of you.
8. Date, but do it with the intention of getting to know what kind of guys you like. Don't make a decision about a marriage until you are done with all schooling and have a job (because you may have to move far away, and you need time to grow)
9. Get one credit card, but DON'T misuse it... you need to establish credit, but credit cards can ruin your life. Keep track of your finances
10. Have fun.... but don't be stupid... you don't have anything to prove to anyone. If you have the choice between being the party girl in the room or the smart girl in the room... be the smart one.

I'm not sure... most of the exciting things I think of you have to be over 20 and done with high school for. How about go somewhere far from home. I went to college 3,000 miles from home and spent a semester in England... I'm glad I did it.

I will give you one thing to do. Start putting aside a little money for the future. You have a great advantage because the time value of money favors you. If you put aside $100 per month in a safe investment, starting now, you will astonish yourself at how much it grows.
