its a 96 dodge caravan the hood is somewhat popped out the hood is not cracked or anything would it be possible to push it back into place? or would i have to get a new one?

I recommend inspecting the mounts for the hood for bends or breaks. Also check the latch and see if it is hindering the hood from closing. In these situations only the damaged areas would need to be replaced, which would be considerably cheaper than a new hood. The only situation that would recquire a new hood is if the hood is physically bent upwards and that might even be mendable with a little elbow grease (if willing). Good Luck.

If the hood is not fitting flush in the down or locked position, try lubricate on the hinge pivots.

as long as there is no crease you can pop it back in place.
