Issue over child support would not usually be heard in a federal court.

Also...your 1st question: They are acting as consumers, since they are purchasing the products, as long as they do not hold a stake in the company that actually manufactures the product that they're buying.

Your first question is almost incomprehensible, but since no one can cross-examine a judge as to the factors that entered into his/her decision, it is not answerable. Even if a judge were to acknowledge certain factors, s/he might not even be aware of some childhood experience that influenced his/her decision.

Question 2: they are consumers in a commercial context, not in a consumer law context, and they are also producers who add value to the product and resell it as part of the new product.

Question 3: Child support is not usually a federal issue. The others are all federal matters, although freedom of speech issues may also be subject to state constitutional provisions.
