Yes I can and so can you - there are some really easy elastic waist patterns out there that total newbies can sew and still look pretty nice....

Yes.
Pants are not too difiicult to cut and sew to fit. There are several stores that have the patterns and even advice and guidance.

no i can't lol but i can take a pair of pants and make into shorts, skirts, and a jacket which looks nothing like the jeans lol
