Because God is telling me that I should vote for a democrat because these weirdos in office right now are misinformed about what he really wants. Yup hes telling me that supporting a dictator, then invading that country 20 years later is a sin and they will all pay one day.Oh and he also said that even if oil is running out we shouldnt invade another country to try and steal theirs, cause he made us pretty smart we can come with alternative energy source.I think he also is saying that the Bears will win the superbowl this year.

I think you have probably heard this one but here goes, Mama Bear and Daddy bear was getting a divorce and the judge ask baby bear if he would like to live with his mother and baby bear says oh no, she beats me. The judge then ask if baby bear wanted to live with his dad and baby bear says oh no, he beats me even worse. Where in the world do you get those crazy ideas? We didn't invade because oil is running out... it's not.. We would be in a better position if the crazes would allow drilling on our own lands (and off shore). Alt energy is a good thing... problem is that you can't turn it on tomorrow. So for the short term we still need oil. And our own oil is better than oil from elsewhere. Support a dictator? Not exactly.. used him to keep Iran in check. Don't forget, the USSR was our Alli in WWII. Best thing to do? You tell me...

Well, thankfully the examples you have cited are not actually being FORCED on us.
That's all politics. When enough people can be convinced to vote for gay marriage, for example, then it will happen. You have to think positive about winning the war of ideas, not just whining (not directed at you personally) when there's a bump in the road. You have to rely on the process and the right thing will happen in the end (no pun intended).
