I happen to be a "preppy" kid. I'm not stuck up and neither are any of my friends. And none of us are stupid, no preppy kids are. Hence the name "preppy". We are all in upper level classes and we work hard. We're all going to good colleges. You should be angry with people who made the most of their time in high school. We go to football games, we are in student counsel. We are having the time of our lives. It's not our fault other people make the desicion not to do the same. I am friends with many people who are not in my "clique" Everyone at my school is. And yes, I hope we do get a good does of Karma and we get into ivy leauges, marry amazing people, have awesome jobs, good kids, and fabulous homes. Stop blaming us.

AT MY 35 YEAR REUNION I DISCOVERED THAT NATUALLY MOST EVERYBODY HAD CHANGED CONSIDERABLY SINCE HIGH SCHOOL. SEVERAL OF THE BIG "JOCKS" WERE OVERWEIGHT BALDING MEN. SOME OF THE GEEKS TURNED INTO VERY ATTRACTIVE MEN AND THE SAME FOR THE WOMEN, AND SOME HAD GONE ON TO BECOME WEALTHY AND SOME WERE JUST COMMON FOLK LIKE THE REST OF US. MOST HAD BEEN DIVORCED AT LEAST ONCE AND IT BECAME QUITE CLEAR TO ME THAT THE PREPS THAT I THOUGHT WERE SO POPULAR ARENT ANY BETTER PEOPLE THAN I AM. IF ONLY I KNEW THEN WHAT I HAVE LEARNED OVER THE YEARS!!MY GRADUATING CLASS WAS 465. THERE WERE 323 AT THAT REUNION, OF COURSE SOME HAD PASSED AWAY WHAT WITH THE VIET NAM WAR AND JUST LIFE. IM ON THE REUNION PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR OUR 40TH WHICH WILL BE IN 2007. IT SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE HOW MANY COME TO THIS ONE.

I stopped caring after highschool!!
Look. Dont spend all your high school years dwelling on them!!
What you should do is spend it by making the best of everything! That is the only thing I regret. Not that I wasnt one of the preppy popular kids. Honestly!!! Do everything you can to have fun. And then soon enough you'll realize they just dont matter!! Trust me!!
Dont let them get to you either!
Good Luck!

I am 44 yrs. old and have stayed in shape. I still wear the same size that I did in high school. I went to my 25th class reunion last year and all the "popular" and "well developed" girls that I remember look like overstuffed leather recliners! And are they angry! Geez, I had to leave for fear of being eaten alive by these fat bitc*es! It was hilarious! I could smell the jealousy! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

One of the cheerleaders from my high school was seen behind a gas station shooting up heroin recently and another male "leader" decided to rob a gas station just for the fun of it. He actually did not understand why he was caught and sent to jail.
The highlight of this happened to my mother. She was in her 2nd month of college, when the head cheerleader of her high school ran up to her and said "Jamie, I'm so glad to see you, no one cares about who I am" . My mom looked at her and said " My name's not Jamie and I don't care either." She then walked away with the head cheerleader staring after her with her jaw on the ground.
