Each country has something interesting in it. I have visited Holland, Poland and Germany so far. But I would like to see many more!
So I would say, if you have the chance visit all.

The answer depends on what you are looking for and what kind of budget your count on.
In South America, I highly recommend Argentina. Start with Buenos Aires. Plan on spending at least two days in Buenos Aires, preferably during a weekend. There are many outstanding restaurants in BA but my all time favorite is Piegari.
:ees than an hour flight, north towards Brazil, is Iguazu Falls.Take a tour of the falls and plan to arrive early to the park so that you can ride the boat to Boca del Diablo. Plan on spending one full day. If you stay on the Argentinean side, you can stay in Foz de Iguazu. In Foz de Iguazu, the place for dinner is LA RUEDA. Great value, outstanding food and overall warmth from people.
If you visit the Brazilian side, you will need a visa to enter Brazil and evidence of vaccines. Check with your local Embassy or Consulate. Try to stay at the hotel by the Falls. It is dear but well worth the experience.
There is a local fish called Surubi. You must have that sauteed on garlic and butter accompanied with an argentinean white or red. You can't go wrong.
I took my girlfirend there and she absolutely loved it.
For tango, try Montevideo, in Uruguay. Go to Joven Tango for a private lesson and then an evening of milonga at LA UVA.
Finally, you must visit Brazil.
Feel free to contact me via e-mail for more info.
I live in the US but spent two months in Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
Good luck.

Portugal! Friendliest people in the world! Moderate prices. They can't do enough for you ..(very different from the Spaniards...A Portuguese person would give you the last shirt off of his back. The Spaniard wouldn't know you were naked.) ..excellent weather all year 'round ...marvelous food and lots of it..terrific beaches.... Colourful singing (fados) and dancing(soft sand) cool breezes on the Alfarve ... a unique and very special wine.. many historical sites paying tribute to the early explorers... SAFE!

Given the opportunity, I think people should visit the country that is least like their own; to see people living under very different circumstances and still being 'just like people' is a very enlightening experience that would be good for us all!
