Should we be made to give up our Nuclear Power if other countries aren't allowed to have it!?Would it ever be alright for us to use it on them but they couldn't have it to protect themselves from "us"? Yes, people that "Us" spelled U. S.

ok coragryph, now I'll think like you. we don't allow them to have it so they acquire it "illegally" and some nut uses it and blows us all to Kingdom Come, now who's the "super power"?Besides now we really don't know who does and who doesn't have it, do we?

gin.. We would "NEVER" use it? We already have one Nut case trying to take on the world! Do the words "bring it on?" ring a bell?

I fully support Iran's attempts to obtain a nuclear weapon. As everyone knows, nuclear weapons are defensive weapons, used for protection, not aggression (otherwise, mutually assured destruction is the price that you pay -- unilaterally assured destruction if you pick a fight with the USA). The US invaded Iraq for petrol, and Iran is next on their hit list. So Iran needs to take defensive measures right now, while the US is still entangled in Iraq, or it may be too late. Thus, they are attempting to acquire a nuke. Note how the US is paying a lot more attention to Iran than North Korea, which is much closer to obtaining a nuke. Note how we went to war in Iraq and not in North Korea. Obviously, it is the politics of petrol.

The problem is if Iran makes nuclear weapons, he will us them to commit genocide. Not just on Israel but on the U.S. also. most likely on Britain too. It is in the worlds best interest if Iran does not get Nuclear capabilities. We have offered them all other alternatives to nuclear power, and they will not accept it. It would be very bad for them to have. We would never use our nuclear technology to ripe out an entire race. We aren't like that. The same also goes for north Korea. They would use it against others as well. If they just wanted it for energy and not for other things I would be all for it, but that is not the case.

No, because America is the world's only superpower, and we have the right to use whatever means necessary to ensure that we remain on top and to make all other countries do what we want them to. The other countries only have the rights we allow them to.

That is a very good question, but I am also glad that we have it and most others do not. It would be ideal if it was uninvented and nobody had nuclear technology.

i think the bigest mistake in the human history was invention of nukes....and nothing justifies the use of them..nothing justifies the killing of milions of inocent people...and remeber the only time nukes have been used is by USA...and nobady is wiling to admit that that was the crime against humanity :(...how many inocent humans died in hiroshima and nagasaki... peace to all :)

Don't worry about it. Look at it this way. Government is fundamentally corrupt, exploitative. It can bleed the people if the people aren't there.
