What do you think of it ? I did today, after I get my data extracted from my Ibook. I decided to pass on the MacBook/MacBook Pro, due to the memory capacity of 60MG vs. the Imac's 160 MG. It has a 17" screen and pretty cool. I'm getting used to it myself. Sx years ago, I got an Imac that has OS 9.

I bought a new iMac in January, shortly after they were introduced. It's the 20" 2.0 GHz Intel CoreDuo model. Love it! Absolutely love it--the way it looks, the way it works, the way it makes creative projects easy! Like you, I previously had an older iMac (350 Mhz DV SE) with OS 9. The new computer was a drastic change for me in terms of speed, screen size, and the transition to OS X, but it has been well worth it. Congratulations on your new purchase! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

I bought the 17 in about a month and a half ago. I love it. I got a gig of ram and the 250 gig Hard Drive. It is the best computer I have ever had and it booting up in 12 seconds (off to desktop) is the most awesome thing ever. Of course the Macbook Pro will do that also... lol. Anyway, I would always recommend the iMac to anyone.

I am so envious. I have an iBook G4 and I would love to upgrade, but the money just isn't there right now and my G4 is just over a year old so it has many good years left in it.

But I do have an account, so I can begin saving for a new one. But in a way I am glad I can't, by the time I get the money, Leopard will be out and 11N, which will be cool.

You must love Tiger over OS 9. Tiger is so awesome.

Congratulations!
