to me bet is better because most of the time mtv only plays rock videos

If you are trying to listen to music you would have to watch BET. MTV doesn't play music anymore. Although, I am not a fan of BET. Thank god for digital TV with Digital music channels.

It depends on your taste in music as they both play diverse sounds, I occasionally watch a BET Movie depending on what it is, I also like Sunday morning BET. MTV an occasional show depending on what it is. They both need to improve their programming! Peace!

Both. I like BET because it plays most of the music choices that I like. I also like DMX's and Keyshia Cole's new series on there. I also like MTV as well. The music is pretty mixed there, so I just watch the videos that interest me, but most of all I like their crazy shows like My Super Sweet 16, Punk'd, and Pimp My Ride to name a few. Both channels are pretty entertaining.

for a long time i would have said mtv. but now i say neither. if i had to pick, i'd say mtv
